How is gbaMS Software helping managers develop Service Delivery Plans? How is it being used to track efficiencies to make those tough decisions between in-house and contracted work? We are looking for two speakers for this session.

Budgeting and Planning Defining and Analyzing Budgets.
Did you know that gbaMS has some specialized modules in the GBA Work Master program that specially help you plan your resource needs and track performance against your goals. Come hear presentations from users taking advantage of these modules.

Accessing Data Yourself How can I find the information that I need?
Your staff has put a lot of effort maintaining your system’s data. gbaMS staff will train you on simple techniques that you can use to find key information and run reports that are useful. This session will be presented twice.

Consent Decrees Meeting EPA Requirements.
Under a consent decree? GBA Master Series has been designed to help meet the requirements of the EPA. Even if you are not currently under a consent decree, you might want to come to this session to find out how you can prevent this from happening. We are looking for two speakers for this session.

Regulatory ComplianceGASB 34, ADA, cMOM, NPDES.
Find out how GBA Master Series software is helping agencies comply with various regulations.

Taking Advantage of Data gbaMS in the Real World.
This session will provide examples of how the software was used effectively in real-life situations. We are looking for two speakers for this session.

FEMA Reporting Getting Reimbursed.
Find out how some of our clients have effectively used GBA Master Series software to quickly get reimbursed from FEMA during times of disaster. This is definitely one session that you want to attend before disaster strikes. We are looking for two speakers for this session.

Vision Sharing Forum – gbaMS and the Future.
This open forum will allow you to discuss your overall vision for the gbaMS applications. What were your goals when you began the implementation of an asset management system? Have your efforts brought you closer to that goal? Has your goal changed? What are your goals for the future? We are looking for two to four speakers for this session.

New Technologies -What else can gbaMS do?
This session will explore – at a high level – additional options available to gbaMS users: Wireless, Bar Coding, Mobile Work and more.

 


Rolling Out Upgrades and Patches - Panel Discussion
This session will allow you to talk to your peers and find out how others are distributing upgrades and patches to the GBA Master Series software. Is there a more efficient way to make those updates? We are looking for two to four panel members for this session.

Security Settings and Work Options
A gbaMS Project Implementation Specialist will discuss all of the various GBA Master Series Security Settings and Work Options settings.

Database Dictionaries
To fully understand the workings of our applications, their integrations, and to effectively develop Crystal Reports, knowledge of our databases is key. This session – led by a gbaMS specialist - will go behind the scenes and allow you to better manage your system data.

Data Importing/Exporting
The open architecture of the gbaMS applications provides a vast benefit to the simple storage of data. This session will discuss importing data from external sources (data collection tools, third-party applications, etc.) and the exporting of data. We are looking for one additional speaker for this session.

Effective Methods of Training New and Existing Staff
As you deal with staff turnovers and additions, a training plan can help you ensure your users are all up to speed. Learn how your co-users are training new employees and keeping current employees up-to-date with the latest technologies. We are looking for two speakers for this session.

Citrix and Terminal Services Implementation – Panel Discussion
With the distribution of your staff to remote offices, a central location for your data can be very beneficial. The panel will discuss the successes (and failures) of implementing these technologies. We are looking for two to four users to make up this Panel.

Going Wireless with gbaMS – Panel Discussion
As we move toward a paperless workflow, wireless communications provide opportunities to send live data into the field for greater efficiency. We are looking for two to four Panelists to share their experiences (and the details) about going wireless with gbaMS and mapping.

Mobile Work – Panel Discussion
Many of our users have been using GBA Mobile Manager for over a year. Find out the hurdles, the benefits, and the desires of those users. How hard is it really? How effective? We are looking for two to four Panelists to share their experiences (and details) about using Mobile Work and Mapping.

Thinking Outside the Box Other Uses of gbaMS
The flexibility of the gbaMS applications has encouraged some of our users to get creative with their uses of our software. We are looking for at least one more presenter in this session.

Accessing Data Yourself
Similar to the session of the same name in the Management Track, this gbaMS Specialist-managed session will go into more detail regarding some special features included within gbaMS to help users get information out – including advanced filters, browses and document storage.

Version 6.72 – Overview of Changes
Presented by a gbaMS Specialist, this session will provide an overview of the changes and enhancements provided with Version 6.72.

Version 6.72 – Database Structural Changes
Presented by agbaMS Specialist, this session will look at the details of the database structural changes that were included in the Version 6.72 release.

This gbaMS-led training session is designed to provide training on the Basic functionalities of the GBA GIS Manager extension.

GBA GIS Extension Advanced Training
This gbaMS-led training session is designed to provide training on the more advanced functionalities of the GBA GIS Master Manager extension.

GBA GIS Analyst Extension Training
This gbaMS-led training session is designed to provide training on the functionalities of the GBA GIS Analyst application.

GBA GIS Viewer Training
This EMS-led training session is designed to provide training on the more advanced functionalities of the GBA GIS Viewer product.

Assets and Work Orders Panel Discussion
The integration of your asset data and your work order data within a GIS is a key component of a seamless management system. We’ll discuss the integration of these components in this panel discussion.

gbaMS Database and Geodatabases – Working together behind the scenes
The gbaMS-led training session will describe in detail how these two databases really work together behind the scenes. From the startup of a project, to adding new features into the system.

GPS Data Collection and Data LoadingImproving your System Daily
This session is focused on gathering GPS data on assets and getting this information into gbaMS and your maps. We are looking for two speakers for this session.

ArcIMS Integration Presentations
We are planning on having two to three presentations focusing on how our clients have teamed with our various partners to provide ArcIMS solutions.

GBA GIS Extension Training –Free-for-all!
This gbaMS-led session will allow users to ask any question as to how any of the GBA GIS Master extensions works – either on the front end or behind the scenes.

Client Presentations
We are looking for three or four client presentations regarding how you are currently using your GIS system and how it relates to gbaMS. These presentations could be either 25 or 50 minutes in length.

 


GBA Sewer Master possible topics might include:

    1. TV inspections and importing of the TV inspection data
    2. Usage of the Sewer Overflow module
    3. Required steps in adding new pipes and manholes to the system – or steps needed in modifying gbaMS/GIS because of construction projects

GBA Water Master – possible topics might include:

    1. Overall usage by the department
    2. Tracking backflow preventors
    3. Testing modules – hydrant and/or meters
    4. Any client using (or planning on using) the raw and recycled modules?

GBA Equipment Master – possible topics include

    1. Experience using GBA Fleet Master and GBA Work Master
    2. Experiences using GBA Equipment Master and GBA Work Master

GBA Facility Master – Experience using GBA Facility Master and GBA Work Master

GBA Street Master (and its related Transportation Modules) – possible topics:

    1. GBA Sign Master – how to keep this always fluctuating system current
