The gbaMS Annual Conference & Training in San Diego

Each year our agenda includes users from across the country discussing and demonstrating how they are using the gbaMS applications, what issues they've discovered and how they were resolved, and their dreams about how they want to use the programs in the future.

We’re looking for presentations regarding your successes, your challenges, your ingenuity, your innovations and anything else you feel would benefit other attendees. Each organization brings something different to the mix and we encourage you to share your story with your peers. Now, we know what you’re going to say…

“I’m not sure I’m comfortable speaking in front of groups…”
The majority of our meeting rooms hold less than 70 people. And remember, these are all people who are interested in what you have to say and have a general understand of what you’ll be discussing.

“Do people really want to hear my story?”
Each year as we review the comments from the conference, the presentations made by our users receive the highest marks. They are the most interesting to the broadest range of users, and they are very helpful for the gbaMS staff to hear as well. There is only so much you can learn in a training session, the real-world examples seem to teach us so much more.

“I just don’t know if I have time to develop a presentation.”
We are committed to helping you! We'd be glad to help you expand a topic or idea into a presentation, develop PowerPoint materials and coordinate handouts. Just let us know and we can get started!

“How long does my presentation need to be?”
The majority of our sessions will be 50 minutes in length – 40 minute presentations with a 10 minute question/answer period. We have developed an outline for each presentation to help you get started, but you can feel free to modify that format to fit with your presentation.

If you are interested, send us an e-mail. We'll work with you to determine the best day / time for your presentation and help you with any hurdles you encounter as you prepare.
